Socialized Medicine

I haven't quite reached a decision about the issue of socialized medicine. I was disturbed by Michael Moore's "Sicko," realizing that yes, our medical insurance system in America needs a great deal of reform. However, is socialized medicine the answer? I hope that all citizen voters are carefully examining these issues, and when a personal conclusion is reached, that you are contacting your representatives. In reflecting, I have recently listened to a speech by Ronald Reagan--one that I'm sure many have been listening to these days. I have included a link below for a video of speech. I encourage you to watch/listen and reflect: is socialized medicine a step in the direction away from Democracy? Or is it merely a step for humanitarian aid and equality?
